Abstract

In the catheterization rooms we find highly qualified professionals, knowledgeable of the most innovative techniques that must be carried out, to achieve the most effective resolution of problems. However, sometimes attention is not paid to other key aspects, such as the psychological aspects of the people who will be operated on. Many of the patients who come to these rooms present anxiety, stress or uncertainty before their surgical operation. The prevalence of anxiety is very high, since it is the fifth most prevalent chronic disease in our country.

Systematic bibliographic review based on the scientific evidence available in different bibliographic databases such as Cochrane, pubMed, Scielo and DIALNET, for which the keywords anxiety, hemodynamics, humanization were used and the Boolean operator "AND" and "OR" were used. ”.

To better analyze the information about the sample, a PRISMA diagram was made, which shows the study selection process. In the articles analyzed, patients are shown, anxiety in the hemodynamic rooms is shown in patients, even in some cases being compared to extreme anxiety.

Various studies show that patients suffer stress, anxiety and fear when they are in the catheterization rooms; Therefore, by carrying out more humanized behaviors on the part of nursing, this stress could be reduced and the comfort of patients increased.
