Conocimientos en cuidados paliativos de los profesionales de Enfermería-valoración de App (herramienta de trabajo)

El presente estudio se realizó en el Hospital Universitario de Móstoles. El objetivo principal del trabajo consiste en determinar el nivel de conocimientos en cuidados paliativos del personal de enfermería de diferentes unidades de hospitalización, así como valorar la utilidad de una aplicación móvil (APP) como herramienta de trabajo en el desempeño de la labor asistencial a pacientes en situación de final de vida.
Estudio descriptivo observacional transversal. La recogida de datos se obtuvo del cuestionario validado en versión española PCQN (Palliative Care Quiz for Nurses), instrumento para evaluar el nivel de conocimientos de enfermería en cuidados paliativos (versión original inglesa por Ross, M.M, Mc Donald & Mc Guinnes 1996), de la encuesta sobre utilidad de la APP, datos demográficos, formación académica y experiencia en cuidados paliativos; se recogerán a través de un cuestionario ad hoc desarrollado en la plataforma Google Form. Consta de 20 items con tres posibles respuestas: correcta, incorrecta, no lo sé y distribuidos en tres bloques.
- Filosofía y principios de los cuidados paliativos: preguntas 1,9,12 y17.
- Dolor y control de síntomas: preguntas 2,3,4,6,7,8,10,13,14,15,16,18 y 20.
- Cuidado espiritual y psicosocial: preguntas 5,11 y 19.
Para el análisis estadístico de las variables se utilizará un sofware estadístico (SPSS).
